I got this as a hard surface to place under the extended mat that I also bought by Corsair. My desk has an uneven surface due to being constructed from reclaimed wood, and this device not only helps make it a nice solid mouse surface... it add some colored flair to my desk.

The CUE software works great to tie the color functionality into my existing keyboard and Corsair 500D case... so everything syncs up and looks great.

The MM1000 is very well constructed and has a nice surface. It charges all my Qi wireless charging devises with ease. My mouse glides across its without any resistance at all almost like my mouse is floating on water. USB 3.0 pass threw works perfectly as well.

The Corsair Dark Core SE wireless mouse is a battery hog (I suppose to allow for the insane refresh rates), so it needs to be charged almost every day. This pad makes it easy to charge the mouse when not in use, and it will charge your phone while you work. It's a great surface that offers a much better experience compared to neoprene pads or a bare best. The USB pass through allows me to place my dongle there and have the whole setup be easier to use with my setup.

If you don't have the Dark Core SE, this is still a great buy if you have a Qi enabled phone, but it's a bit less compelling, especially if you don't have a Qi equipped phone.

LED's are a lot brighter than I expected then to be which is great, very surprised on how good the material is was debating whether to get hard surface or cloth because I've never had a hard surface mouse pad but it is amazing I'm extremely happy with my choice!
