I got this because, well why not. I have the keyboard and the programming is easy and it is nice at night with the keyboard and the mousepad lighting up. But overall it is a glorified mousepad. If you do not care about the lights, then spend a lot less than the price is on this..

This mousepad is “yuge.” Pro-tip: get a mouse bungee to keep the cord above your hand. Otherwise, mouse cords can get annoying as they can stifle hand movements.
Lastly, the LED configurations are nice, but I found myself ignoring them during daily use. The pad itself is very precise. Took off one star for price.

This thing does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you use a regular mousepad or no mousepad you are in for the surprise of a lifetime. This will revolutionize the way you use your mouse. If you already have a similar product this one is like the rest but much much larger and sports a USB passthrough for convenience and has some pretty sweet lights on them to match just about every other blingy product I have that does the same. Corsair has some wicked good keyboards and I'm happy to have this pad. No more blaming my mouse getting stuck for fps deaths.

Very large. When computer sleeps it goes into it's default rainbow lighting, illuminating the dark room.

I love Corsair products but their software is horrible until they finally iron out the bugs. Pad doesn't always light up until restart.

I love this mouse pad. At first I was torn between getting another extended cloth mouse pad or going with the RGB hard surface one. I am glad I made the choice to go RGB because man is this pad beautiful! You can use the helpful and user-friendly Corsair software to sync your lighting scheme if you have a Corsair RGB keyboard and/or mouse. Your friends will be impressed as heck (until they see you play - then you're on your own).
The pad is a pretty good size and the surface texture is nice and slippery. It's a noticeable difference from cloth though and may take some getting used to. As well, the RGB LEDs are super bright and functional. It's going to make your computer room look like some kind of disco.
That said, there are a couple little things that I am not a fan of. Number one is the very protruding USB port/input at the top of the mousepad. If you use a wired mouse, your mouse cable might get held up by this part of the pad, and it just looks clunky. Also, this mouse pad even on sale is very expensive. You're paying twice as much essentially for the LEDs so you have to REALLY want those bright lights and flashy colors. Finally, there are reports that the surface texture of the pad wears down mice feet faster than cloth pads. So be warned. Overall though I am very glad for the purchase.

I use this mousepad paired with a Corsair M65 RGB mouse and Corsair K70 RGB keyboard with the CUE software.
(+): Very nicely sized mouse pad; use for gaming and everyday use, high quality, smooth and accurate tracking, LEDs are bright and consistent (no hotspots), stays in place and doesn't slide, even with heavy and harsh movements!
(-): Using Corsair's CUE software for the MM800 RGB is the biggest downfall. It consistently will have errors with connectivity, especially with USB 3.x ports, as you can find on numerous computer forums and Corsair's support page. If you are able to plug in to a USB 2.0 port, you'll be fine.
Overall, the errors will only effect your lighting profiles, but the reason you bought this mouse pad was for the RGB lighting...so I'll deduct a star for that. Hoping for a firmware update fix, as they did with their previous RGB products.

Does not shut off when computer is in sleep mode. Other than that, great product and works great. Extra USB port is very useful.

Smooth, pretty, large enough but not too large, I just wish it was flat where the USB pass thru connects so wires don't get caught there.

This mousepad has a great software to truly bring the RGB of your setup to the next level. The underside of the mousepad is very grippy and the mousepad is satisfactorily stationary. The build quality is impeccable, not sacrificing anywhere as it is rock solid with little give anywhere. A really nice feature of this mousepad is the USB pass through for a mouse as well, because some systems can have very limited USB ports.
My only complaint is that it does advertise itself as a grippy mousepad, yet being a hard mousepad it definitely supports a really high sensitivity and low physical movement, which is not compatible with my current preferences.
In conclusion, this is a hard mousepad that's appearance is quite customizable, which can really make your setup look great!

A great mouse pad albeit with some cons.
First the Pros:
The mouse pad is large and the surface is fantastic. It's a hard surface but very smooth.
The RGB lighting looks great and the effect and colors are easily changed through the CUE software.
The bottom of the pad has a nice rubber layer to keep the pad in place.
The pad has a mouse passthrough. You plug the pad into your PC/laptop and then the mouse into the pad itself.
The Cons:
The power cable plastic piece at the top of the mouse pad can get in the way. If your mouse power cable is straight, it will trip over the plastic piece as you move your mouse. I recommend bending your mouse power cable to the side where it won't interfere. One doing that, I've had no problems.
If you lock your computer, the mouse pad does not remember your settings and goes into a rainbow effect. This is by far my biggest annoyance. The pad doesn't have built in memory so in order for it to remember your color settings, you have to be actively in Windows with the CUE software running. Locking your computer suspends CUE so you are stuck with a rainbow effect. It's bright and extremely distracting so if you sleep in the same room with your PC, it's a deal breaker. I'm hoping a firmware update can be downloaded to turn the light off if your computer is locked.
