I was very impress with this mouse. The fact that you can use this mouse across 3 PC screen is incredible. Though, not perfect, it got me really excited for the future. All they have to do is do some future software updates that will fix multi-monitor support and slow connections, and it should be close to perfect. I have never been this excited for a mouse, for a long time.I have small hand so this mouse was perfect for me. I was sick and tired of those huge standard mouses because they were just too big for my hand and so uncomfortable to use. I never grip a mouse with my whole hand. I'm a tip of the finger gripper so this mouse was perfect for me. Decent weight, not too heavy, but wish it was a little lighter. One more thing that would make this a perfect mouse, would to have 4 programmable buttons on the side instead of the standard 2. I have 2 programmable mouses, but those programmable mouse are just too big, so I would love it if they have it on this one. We'll see if Logitech will come out with that in the future.Haven't test out battery life and gaming so I wouldn't know.

I'm left handed so side buttons are pretty useless. (No left handed version) Being able to drag from monitor to laptop and cut and paste files is great.

I use this mouse for general purposes such as web surfing, document viewing, file organizing, photo editing and a little gaming. The battery life is impressive and last as long as described. Its compact size is ideal for travel. Muti device switch works smoothly and fast (between 1-2 seconds). The biggest drawback is the clicking sound which is very loud. It's not ideal to use it in a quiet room like in a library or at home late night. Not good enough for gaming.

I mainly purchased this mouse to use when editing photos and videos on my MacBook. It is a little bit on the small side (portable but not as ergonomic as I would like), but it connects fast via Bluetooth to my MacBook Pro. Overall, I like it and it does come in handy.

I've been using the Logitech MX anywhere mice for several years now.. Have had two of the originals, one got lost... The other finally wore out... So now this model... Same great feel and ability to use on almost any hard surface... Mixed feelings on the rechargeable battery, the original was never a battery hog, so switching to rechargeable battery is just different.. Haven't had any problems with the mouse going dead or anything...What I don't like, is the TINY power switch... The original model had the great big slide switch on the bottom of the mouse, that you easily move with your thumb... Now its a small slide switch that is slightly recessed into the bottom of the mouse.. You kinda have to dig for it, to power the mouse on or off...Oh... Come on, its a portable mouse... The carry case the original had was great... If someone is paying the retail price, it should still come with the little vinyl case.. So I am reusing the old case on the new mouse...

When you click the scroll wheel, instead of getting a mouse3 option such as opening a tab when clicking on a link, you unlock the scroll wheel from a metered click to an infinity scroll .To Logitech, I would GLADLY give up the 'Hyper-Fast Scrolling' to gain back the option to conveniently open windows in a new tab.

This is a very flexible mouse. I’m sure gamers will love it. I use it for pretty mundane uses, however, so I don’t use some of the features. For my purposes, I like the somewhat cheaper M705, which fits my hand exceptionally well.

I had been looking for a new mouse for a while, meaning a lot of research, mainly YouTube videos. I came across this mouse really liking the idea about it. Rechargeable, customization of buttons, that it can scroll across any surface basically.I bought it, customized it and am in love with this mouse! The only thing you may notice is if you have a larger hand, it can cause some discomfort after extended use.

I had to ding one star because I had to find work arounds for some significant use cases. For starters your application needs to support the proper level of Bluetooth. My laptop is rather old (BT 2.1), hence it simply refused to see this mouse. Not the mouse's fault so no ding here. I simply chose to use the RF dongle that came with it. For my purposes I would have preferred the BT connection but I can wait until I replace my laptop. The mouse's weight I felt was correct. It's size also correct. However, these are personal preferences and if they work for me....I can't say they would work for you. I simply found the mouse's shape, size, and weight worked perfectly for me. The settings out of the box seemed perfect too. The mouse moved as fast and no faster than I wanted it.This mouse simply did everything I wanted it to...out of the box.I tried the feature I bought it for. I wanted to switch my keyboard and mouse to an alternate system. I connected to both systems and now I can easily switch to another system without having separate keyboard/mouse for each system.Now...the rub...hence the ding. I really like taking the wheel and zooming down a long web page or into a long document. Who doesn't like to give that ole mouse a strong whirl to get where they know they need to go with it. Works great...until it stops. Mine stopped. And I began reading. Then a second or two later, it scrolled some more...sometimes one direction then sometimes the other direction. What's up with that? I tried this with another browser....then another application...then I even tried a different OS. All apps and both Windows and Linux exhibit the same issue. Hence, it was the mouse.Upon further investigation I found that others also reported this problem. It turns out the fix, which really isn't a fix, is to press the wheel (until there is a click), which changes the wheel from free wheeling to not-free wheeling. This does solve the issue but you sacrifice the zooming thru documents. You spin the mouse (even if you whirl it), and it stops immediately, and your scrolling also stops. So, the use case of zooming thru documents pretty much has to be given up for this mouse.Amazon was great though. They are sending a new mouse. The only posts talked about the weight of the wheel being unbalanced. Perhaps the replacement mouse works better or came off the factory line in charge of properly QA'd mice. :) If not, then I'll probably choose to forego the one use case that fails in favor of the other fine features of this mouse.+++++I received a replacement mouse from Amazon quickly. The replacement works a lot better. Not perfect but a lot better. The free wheel feature now lets me spin thru a long list fine and only hesitates briefly at the end and stops soon after. I can live with that. If they perfect this feature it would be great though. You can always disable free wheeling and the mouse works perfectly in that mode.

I am traveling with this mouse all time and I need something that works with my laptop over Bluetooth. This does the trick.I have had a few times when I had to re-pair this with my laptop. It would be a hassle if I was in a hurry.

still a neat item, but somehow it is not so elegant as expected (compared to 1st gen), the quality is good, and double-mode is very convenient if you have more than one devices

The only complaint I would have is that sometimes one of my computers it sometimes stops working with and I have not been able to pin point the reason.

The compact design of the mouse, length of the battery life, and other various features make this mouse awesome. My only complaints are that it lacks a middle mouse button and the clicking is very loud.

I choose this mouse because of the great flow functionality and good reviews. So far the mouse looks good and material is pretty decent. However, after having a regular desktop mouse for 2 years this one feels a bit small. The precision and weight feels OK but I need to move it using my finger tips instead of my palm as I used to. Basically is a bit short.

Overall it's a great mouse. It's too bad though that the battery can't be replaced anymore. It would have been 5 stars otherwise.

I've been trying to buy a good Bluetooth mouse for perhaps 10 years. It needs to be compact enough to fit in my bag, have good scrolling, function reliably, and work well with Linux. Ideally it should also have a middle mouse button and navigation buttons on the side.Logitech finally nailed it. And it's been a long time coming.Stupid name aside, the MX Anywhere 25 is darn near perfect. It has just the right amount of grippy soft touch plastic coating the outside, it can be charged while in use (*aham*, Apple), and works perfectly with Linux out of the box with no issues. It glides effortless into my bag, but is still big enough not to make my hand cramp. It's a great mouse, with handy forward/back nav buttons, a dedicated middle mouse button, and a scroll wheel that PHYSICALLY toggles between fluid movement and clicky resistance. The are really only two real complaints so far. First, the included optional dongle (for when you don't want to use Bluetooth) can't be stowed anywhere in the mouse itself, which almost guarantees I'll lose it. Second, the frame itself is just regular plastic with a noticeable seam in it, which while fine aesthetically, makes me wonder how good the build quality is going to be in 2-3 years. I'd be reassured by a single injection molded piece or perhaps even a carbon fiber frame. But I'm nitpicking.Overall, this mouse is my favorite one I've owned to date. Well done, Logitech.[UPDATE: Upon needing to charge it, I did notice one significant bummer: It uses obsolete Micro USB for charging, not the more modern USB C, so you'll have to pack an extra cable just for this mouse.]
