I am running this daily OC'd 4.7ghz using a Corsair H100. Processer can easily hit 4.8 - 5ghz if you are using custom water cooling, but your not going to hit above 4.7 stable with any retail cooler and defiantly not with air, even the Noctua. Dollar for Dollar this is a great buy and a beast of a processor. If your not looking to spend more than $300 on a processor than this should be your one and only choice.

I decided to upgrade from a first generation i5 and the difference in application loading and execution times is very noticeable.

Fast. Can get hot. Tuning it worked out at 4.5ghz @ 35c idle. Water cooling is a must. Don't get it without one.

Great CPU my first Intel since the Pentium 4. I'll have to say this little baby is beast. Overclocks nicely, got mine to 4.6ghz on air with stock voltage. Great CPU for gaming, the added speed makes day to day task seem quicker also.
