I haven't had any issues with it so far. There is a noticeable difference in performance and I think the money was well spent.

I will just have to add my voice to the chorus of praises for this CPU: it's fast, it's really, really fast. And I haven't even overclocked it just yet! Cooled by a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo it breezes through everything I have so far thrown at it.
Addendum February 8.
I really needed to add this as it may be relevant for people who use their computers for 3D/CAD modeling (AutoCAD, BIM, SketchUp, 3D MAX). Some mention has been made of the on-board graphics capabilities of this chip. While waiting on my GPU to arrive I went ahead and bumped the speeds of both the CPU (+10%) and the RAM (currently @ 2400 MHz). I was amazed - you could orbit a shaded complex SU model without a single hitch (monitor resolution 1920x1080). I have not mapped materials as I very rarely do that anyway. A modestly complex BIM model refreshes instantly with 3 open viewports. I now think I only need the GPU to watch HD video. Just make sure you get the latest INTEL graphics driver.
