Love this CPU. Been using it for a year now with an amazing CPU Fan I bought separately. I'd recommend buying this CPU. Could go into the nitty gritty, but I'd rather just sum it up and say it's really good. I used it with Far Cry 4 and some tasking programs. Works great. I'd definitely recommend it

Best option if you have an 1150 Z97 board and need to make your system last a little longer. Sure you could go with some of the newer processors, but you would need a new board and RAM and that means spending $600+ to get about the same performance this one can give you.

runs hot even with noctua heatsink (thin with 1 fan) in the 40~c idle (room temp 22-25c). having another fan side or top would help a lot and temp would go down to the 30~c.
