Up to 4.4GHz they say but I never wanted to chance it. I have mine set at 4.2GHz and it's perfect for my needs. I haven't tried to test it to a limit but so far with audio production, it's fast.

Great Quad core. Amd's 8 core processors dont stand a chance. Hyperthreading is where it's at. This processor runs cool and overclocks well compared to previous generation i7's. 4.0ghz clock by stock already has this thing packed with a punch even if you don't overclock. On top of that you have the extra boost turbo clock that can really help during heavy gaming at times.
