First time getting a different mouse beside stock mouse and oh boy how this mouse open my eyes on computer mice. Yes the Magic Mouse got some very impressive tech behind it, but when it comes to comfort this mouse beats it by a long shot. The size it’s perfect for my small hands, very responsive, the amount of button gestures it’s amazing. I have nothing wrong to say about this mouse. I recommend it for people with small hands and travel a lot.

I do a lot of work in excel. The programmable feature is outstanding. I would prefer the button behind the wheel was in front of the wheel. I have not had it long enough to determine the battery life or durability, but it seems fine for me.

Here are the portable computer mice I've owned in the past (not a long list):
1. MX Anywhere 2
2. Microsoft Arc Mouse
I got this mouse because it's pretty much identical to the MX Anywhere 2, but white (light grey, whatever). There's this other feature that you can use to transfer files between different computers by just dragging and dropping between the computer screens (I have not, and will not try that, because I have a very fast SSD for transferring, and I would rather use that over whatever speeds this thing has. Trust me, this will not be nearly as fast as 2.5GBs read/write).
So I mainly got it out of design. Any cons? The price. $80 is excessive for a mouse like this. I have big hands, but this isn't uncomfortable (unlike the Microsoft Arc Mouse which was uncomfortable immediately).
Ergonomically, this mouse is great. Size-wise for travel, it's great. Battery life, great (charges up with INCLUDED micro-usb cable, so even if it dies, you can use it plugged in).
You can use the mouse with bluetooth (what I do), or the included USB dongle. Overall, if the color isn't important to you, or you don't care about the dragging files between computers feature, just get the old one (MX Anywhere 2). Or if anything, get the $50 MX Anywhere 2S (graphite color). Otherwise, choose the color that you'll enjoy the most.

This is a durable and premium product. I only wished it had silient buttons. Working in library or other quite places, the click sounds, it becomes very annoying.

Edit: I've used this mouse for about 2 months now. Everything below is still accurate. The one negative I found is the darned on/off switch. Logitech could have done a better job designing it. ALL of my other Logitech devices (5 currently, and others that were upgraded as they wore out), including past Anywhere mice, have easy to use on/off switches. This one takes some effort and a fingernail to operate. Logitech, please redesign this. I knocked one star for this.I've noticed that some of the reviewers have commented about this mouse feeling like it is cheaply made. I'm holding my old Anywhere MX mouse and my new MX Anywhere 2S in each hand. The only difference I notice is the new mouse is lighter - since it doesn't have 2 AA batteries in it. The new 2S version has its own built-in battery. The clicks and button all feel about the same to me. As far as performance goes between the two mice, the 2S feels slightly more exact. I also prefer the new lower profile wireless dongle. It stays in my computer 24/7. The lower profile helps to keep me from bumping it on something or breaking it off. This is now my 3rd Anywhere mouse. I keep them for a number of years until the buttons wear out. When that happens, I upgrade. While I have no thoughts on the new Flow control and will likely never use it, this mouse seems every bit as good or better than my other two older versions - and no more carrying around a spare set of AA batteries!. Hope this helps...

Mouse works on an 11 year old Mac as well as new Lenovo PC. It comes with a dongle to use on older machines, works via bluetooth on newer machines. Software download give you tremendous flexibility programming the mouse. It even works well on glass.

Makes gaming around other people or sitting in conference meetings so much better. No constant click click click. Really is silent.

This is a great mouse. It seems a bit heavy but that would likely be the battery. The infinite scroll and weirdly-placed middle-click button take some getting used to, but not a serious issue... but it's more comfortable to me as a not-at-home mouse. It's too small to use for extended periods of time. That said, it seems tough and reliable and worth the price.Sidenote about the Flow option. It was great at first, but the copy and paste between computers can be unreliable, even with just a page of text. There are better options for this out there. I personally went with Microsoft Garage's Mouse WIthout Borders (which also lets you use keyboards and whichever mouse you prefer, neverminding the brand.
