I've been a fan of Logitech mice and keyboards for a long time, and went through a couple of the older MX Anywhere model over the years before buying this MX 2S. I have always liked the MX line because I prefer a small, agile mouse, and find the forward / back side buttons to be so useful that any mouse without them just seems silly. This MX 2S feels like it glides smoother and tracks more precisely than than original MX. The rechargeable batter is also a nice change from the older model using regular batteries, though using it with the cord attached to charge is a little too reminiscent of the old days before wireless mice. I'm not interested in any of the document transfer software, so I can't speak to that.Overall, I think this is a great mouse EXCEPT for one annoying flaw. The left and right button clicks are EXTREMELY LOUD. Side by side, the older MX makes a nice and fairly subtle click, while the MX 2S produces a comparatively loud, hollow, almost snapping sound.I had never considered my noise threshold for tolerable computer peripheral sounds, mouse clicks, keyboard strokes, etc., but the MX 2S definitely crosses a line for me where it's too loud to ignore as it announces to the room your every mouse decision. Editing something that requires a lot of clicking and double clicking? Apologize in advance to anyone nearby because it gets annoying fast.If everything else about the mouse wasn't so perfect, I'd have rated it lower and probably returned it. It really is a great mouse, and I'm hoping it will either get a bit quieter as I break in the buttons more, or I just get used to the sound. Or I guess there's always loud music to drown it out.

No longer is my multi PC desk covered in mice and keyboards. I am able to run three systems with one and even transfer between them with my new setup.

Wow, better than I anticipated. I'm using it with two PC's at the moment. Seamlessly connects between the two. Perfect for home and traveling. Definitely recommend.

I love this mouse. I'm not an expert but it does what I thought it would. Used mainly with my laptop, it has held a charge and performs well across two screens. My only complaint is that the receiver is so tiny it is difficult to remove from the port of my non-bluetooth desktop. However, I mainly use the laptop so that is a minor issue. If you take a little the time to set it up the way you like, I would expect it to be responsive to your specifications.

An excellent mouse! Light, fast and precise. It connects instantaneously and allows a lot of customization to the keys. Absolutely recommended

Works on any surface, large enough to be comfortable in my hand, small enough to toss in my bag every day.

This is a normal Logitech mouse, consistent in style with mice they're been releasing for many years: Two large buttons and one small on top; forward and back buttons on the left. A scroll wheel that has smooth, low-friction scrolling, or standard click-scrolling; tilts to each side as well for side-scrolling.
All buttons customizable with Logitech software; a range of built-in functions, or custom keyboard shortcuts.
This mouse's niche: It's small, and wireless, so ideal for using with a laptop for travel, away-from-home-use etc. Loud clicks; ie may disturb those around you. Long battery life and quick charging. Heavy for its size.
Connects with Bluetooth or a small proprietary Logitech dongle. Lag is low with Bluetooth; very low/almost unnoticeable with the Dongle. This creates a tradeoff: using the mouse directly with your laptop/tablet's BT connection, or add a dongle for reduced lag. Can switch between the two modes using a button on the bottom; presumably this button also lets you switch between different computers.

Got the mouse today. Seems not good for me since the Bluetooth support is not functioning. I tried to connect to my surface pro 4 in Windows 10. Only the unifying receiver works but the reason I bought it is the Bluetooth connectivity. Waiting for the response from support. Support page doesn’t help much.
Update:
Figure out how to connect the bluetooth. The mouse would not automatically connect via bluetooth. You have to click the Add Bluetooth and other device and find the right mouse. Going to check it in Overwatch.
