I'm a bit of a PC peripheral nut and have or had dozens of mice of all shapes and sizes over the years. I have two of the previous generation of MX Anywhere mice and used pretty much every iteration of Logitech's top-of-the-line desktop mouse since the MX Revolution. My daily driver right now is the MX Master 2S, but was the MX Master previously. I keep the MX Anywhere mice around for when I travel and the MX Anywhere 2S is probably the nicest travel mouse I've used from Logitech. Yes, it has more advanced features than before, but mostly I like it because the build quality is better than previous models (less squeaking when you pick up and squeeze it) and the tracking on multiple surfaces is very accurate. I do wish the receiver could be stored IN the mouse, like before, but I also don't mind leaving it plugged in to my laptop since the size has been reduced. I also would've appreciated a case, but I just reuse one of the cases that came with the older one, so I'm OK there. One nice thing about having multiple Unifying receivers is that I can pair both the MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S to the same receiver, so I can use both mice with two separate computers without having to fiddle with the receivers. I don't use the Flow application, because it seems gimmicky to me. And while I like the ability to pair it with multiple devices, I hate that the button to switch devices is on the bottom on both MX mice. Having to flip the mouse up rather than just clicking a button somewhere on top or the side is a nuisance if you switch on a regular basis throughout your day, which I do. Aside from my distaste for that one design miscue, I really like the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S and it's my favorite premium, mobile mouse.

I love the feel and the wide arrange of options for my laptops. It's responsive and large battery life as of now. The flow also works fine though a but laggy when switching laptops. Though it's fine for the most part.

Great little mouse with the ability to selectt from several different connections. I have only been able to get the Bluetooth to work -- not the Logitech Unifying dongle. Also, it would not play with Ubuntu 14 nor 16. It is nice that it works on any surface, which really helps if you are a world traveler such as myself.

This mouse works well. Bluetooth pairing the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S mouse with computers running OSX 10.12.x or Windows 10 was quick and easy. The Logitech Flow functions work well, allowing me to seamlessly pass the mouse control between computers running OSX and Windows. This is a medium sized mouse that will not fill an adult palm. It's great for travel. I'm happy with this purchase.

    Logitech Flow-
    1. Requires both computers have the Logitech options (Flow) application installed
    2. Requires both computers are connected to the same network
*I do have security concerns regarding Logitech Flow. While the ability to copy/paste files from one computer to the other worked well during testing, I imagine the Flow application could be compromised by attackers operating on the same network.

This mouse is awesome! It tracks on any surface, it pairs via bluetooth or the unifying adapter. The best feature is that I can use it with up to 3 devices. Switching between devices is also really easy to do. The battery life on this sucker is also quite phenomenal in that I charge it about once every 2-3 weeks. I'm on my computer from 8am to 10pm every day.Side Note: I also use this as a gaming mouse, yeah it doesn't have a lot of the macro buttons that gaming mice have but it tracks fast and is precise. I use it for CS:go and it works great.

This is an excellent complement to the larger

    Logitech MX Master 2S

, and I'm giving it four star only because of the inherent limitations of the smaller physical size.Like its larger counterpart it is well built, accurate, had a long battery life, and easy on the hand for long term use. However smaller size comes with some compromises:- While the larger Master is sculpt to fit a hand, with all fingers having a specific place, this falls slightly short. The top part should take three fingers, but the ring finger falls to side. Also being smaller the thumb-rest is minimal at best (but it is still comfortable on regular use).- The scroll wheel is inferior. It replaces the middle click with the smooth / ticky scroll selection as a hardware button. The Master has the middle click there, and a separate electronic switch for scroll feedback selection. (it also has this nice free fall and brake which are harder to describe without actually trying them)However it brings the same advantages compared to the older models. Specifically:- The new sensor. It is more precise, works on more surfaces, and uses less battery- The new continuum software for sharing the input between multiple separate devices on your desk. There was similar offerings on the market (for example Synergy, which used to be open source). But given the security issues that plagued all these things, I would still keep the old manual switching on the bottom.Speaking of with, it shares the benefits of the older models. It can be connected to at least three devices (the third can be the unified USB receiver, which can be carried to other devices). It supports both Bluetooths, and the old style Logitech USB receivers. It can also work as a wired device while charging thru the cord.Overall a very good device, only hindered by the small size.

This mouse is marketed with Flow being its main feature, but I actually find a different feature to be more compelling and might justify its higher purchase price to some people. This mouse works both with Logitech's Unifying receiver as well as Bluetooth, and it can pair with 3 devices - switchable via a button at the bottom. This makes it different from other mice (mouses?) in the market.First, let's describe what is Flow, and why I don't find it that compelling. Imagine if you have two computers you're using, each with its own monitor, on your desk. You're working on one, typing and moving your mouse. You need to work on the other computer. You move the mouse over, just like on a multi-monitor on the same system, and suddenly you're now working on the other computer. Magic! So what's not to like about Flow? Well, it is artificially limited to just a couple of models of Logitech mouse and keyboards, for one. And it doesn't work with Linux. You're also restricted to 3 computers - though that's something that's not likely to be an issue for most people. And there has been a software that can do this for years now - Synergy. It works with Windows, Mac, Linux, with any make of keyboard and mouse, and it supports cross computer copy / paste as well. It doesn't support file copy, but you can use a cloud storage or local network storage product for that.As a mouse, this is comfortable in the hand. The edge feels different, but not in a bad way. It's small, naturally, and mostly ambidextrous - except for the two buttons on the left side that is somewhat awkward for a left handed mouse user to access. You get the hyperscroll wheel and lose the middle mouse button - depending on your preference, you may like or hate that. Like almost all other Logitech mouse I've used, operation is flawless and smooth. If you don't need both Bluetooth and USB dongle on the same wireless mouse, or the ability to easily pair with 3 computers at the same time, it probably isn't worth the price premium over other very good Logitech mice.

Mice have the unusual task of being in contact with most computer users more than anything else. By that I mean it is in our hands and its entire shape is connected with us. While the keyboard is something we use more, it is not something we connect with to the same degree as the mouse because it is just our fingertips that connect with it.Having said that, the shape of a mouse is a really key element in its success as a player in the market. There are definitely other elements too like DPI, programmable buttons, scroll wheel etc, but if it doesn't feel right the features won't contribute to the bottom line in its success like they could.I have owned a wide range of mice ranging in price from about $20 to $80, and ranging from brands I have never heard of to Logitech. The most featured one I have is the

Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Tunable Gaming Mouse, FPS Mouse

it has a great shape, super high DPI for my photo editing and other features that made it my favorite until I got the MX anywhere. While it doesn't have the same range of features as the G502, there is no just no comparison to how it feels when you use a mouse as much as I do.Previously when I did a lot of photo retouching, the higher DPI was a feature I really needed, but these days I do a lot of web development, and general computer tasks, and for that kind of work, the MX anywhere is a dream to use.FEATURES:Its cross computer feature is not something I have used because I only have one computer in my officeThe TRACK ANYWHERE is amazing - I even tried it on glass and it responds the same as if it was on a mouse pad.Multiple connectivity options are fabulous, I have the USB dongle in the computer at home and I use the bluetooth on my laptop at work.Battery - 70 days on one charge is pretty fabulous & I am a big fan of connecting the mouse via usb to recharge.I cannot remember the name of the feature, but when you hit the button next to the scroll wheel, you can see all your open applications on each screen that they are open on (i have 3). On a PC its like ALT-TAB, but way better :)SUMMARY:I know it's a fairly high price for a mouse that isn't laden with features the same way as something like the G502, but for me there simply isn't a mouse that I have enjoyed using as much. At first it felt a little small because I was transitioning from the larger G502, but now after a week, it is exactly the right size. If you are reading this review, and are in the market for the best mouse experience ever, I suggest you give this puppy a spin :)
