  I suffered with an aging Logitech Anywhere MX - it was getting increasingly difficult to track precisely and scrolling was also getting worse. So I tried a cheap mouse from China that cost only $9.50 but had good reviews and claimed it worked on a Mac. Yikes, not good and much worse than my aged prior mouse. So I did the research again and this time popped for the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S - great choice. Tracking and scrolling are good and the forward and back buttons work on my Mac - huge efficiency feature that I use constantly when surfing the internet. I doubt I ever will use the multiple computer features but for my usage case this mouse rocks. Also, it can connect via wireless or bluetooth. My research suggests that bluetooth is better and so the wireless receiver is sitting on a shelf. All in all I procrastinated for 6-9 months before trying to fix my mouse and hopefully this one works for years to come. Update (Sept 2017), I got a new keyboard and the bluetooth mouse interfered with the bluetooth keyboard. I had an open usb slot so I plugged in the receiver and problem is resolved. Guess I didn't need to pay extra for the bluetooth feature as the usb receiver works just fine.

  I had expected this mouse to be a larger, similar to the M705. The MX Anywhere would be great for portability. I exchanged it for the larger MX Master 2S. The MX Master is perfect for desktop use, with more features and will migrate to other surfaces when necessary. The features on both Logitech products are just awesome!

  This is an awesome mouse. Very responsive with a lot of features for a portable mouse. I use it 90% for work and 10% general household use. The ability to copy and paste from one computer to another is such a fantastic feature. The customizable buttons are very nice. Default side buttons for forward and back web page navigation, the side scroll and quick scroll features on the wheel work great, although the feel took a little getting used to. The size of the mouse is perfect for me and I like that it's rechargeable. So far I've not found any surface that it wouldn't work perfectly on.

  I didn't think I'd like the hard surface as much as I do. My mouse glides super smooth across the surface. The software is pretty easy to use once you fiddle around with it for a few minutes.
