Great CPU! I've overclocked it to 4.7 at 1.325v. I don't doubt I can get better, and with less power, with more tinkering. Everything in Windows snaps open without hesitation and games run smooth as butter.
It's a high performance desktop-grade processor, and obviously it's from Intel, it's not like there's a competition anywayIt's a great CPU if you're like me, aiming to get a reliable and relatively high performance out of it.If you're too much into overclocking stuff, it's not that fun since there's a small thermal headroom, so getting a mere 600mhz boost on air cooling looks kind of impossible. On stock clocks it's cool and my cpu fan never maxes out.
Most current chip for 1150 socket is great. Also called Devil's Canyon, the chip is easy to overclock with Asus' Duel Intelligent software -- it's best to overclock with this software, rather than from within the bios-- that comes with the 97-a board (you don't need to use this board, but it is cheap and easy to overclock). Cost effective for the amount of processing you get, especially if you are working with 3D modeling programs that utilize the CPU more that the GPU such as Revit. You can get away with not having a discrete GPU since this chip has graphic capability built in, but I am assuming that most people would be getting this chip for gaming or working in 3D design/rendering, so discrete GPU would be a must.Runs well, no major issues, fast, easy to install, pretty straight forward. Additionally, if you want to overclock, go with something Corsair H100i instead of the in box heat sink unit.

i love this keyboard. my hands are not the best and tend to spill and drip things often. ruined quite a few keyboards before finding this one. thank goodness for wash-ability, lol.
Wish I could have a bushel of these things! My first build and I am running it easily at 4.6GHz and the processor is a whopping 29° Celsius! Thx Intel! I'll let Y'all know when I bust this chip up to 5.2 GHz! LOL! It won't be hard!

I never give a product 5 stars until undergoes the test of time. I looked at A LOT of keyboards before purchasing this one. Yes, you can buy a cheaper keyboard, but when you're stuck at your computer for long hours, you need a good one. Buy this one. While it's only been a week, I love this keyboard. I love the look of it, and the feel of the keys is great. It has a slim and stylish profile, and comes with this cute little cleaning brush that clips to the underside (which is a beautiful teal blue color) of the keyboard. I can wear out any keyboard in a few years - so I'm looking forward to putting this Logitech (washable black-on-top keyboard with white keys) through the rigors of daily life! My computer is a laptop. For my editing and graphic design work, I use an external mouse, keyboard, and 27 monitor. I purposely keep the laptop on a riser or small shelf so I won't spill my breakfast, lunch, dinner (and occasional bourbon & water ;-) on it. However, my keyboard isn't so lucky! If Amazon prompts me, I'll write another review in a few months.
Haven't seen my son leave his room once he put it in his gaming machine. Starting to wonder what my son looks like. Wish I could give one to my boss at work and get the same effect.
