  I bought this because I am known for spilling things on my keyboard. It is easy to clean. The minus side is the keys are a bit rough in terms of 'catching' if you don't hit them centered when typing..I find that rather annoying.

  I got this keyboard because I wanted something that was easy to clean - but the funny thing is, I haven't had to wash it at all because the channels in between the keys are big and there is really nothing for crap to get stuck in like conventional deep-seated keys. I just tilt over a trashcan, and blow. I did give it a wash test where I ran water over it and it was still fine. The typing action is quiet but the keypress is rather shallow, similar to a laptop.

  I've bought two of these (one for my Grandpa). I have a CM Storm QuickFire Pro mechanical gaming keyboard for gaming but I only use this keyboard now. Pros: 1) Extremely quiet 2) Washable! (It's like getting a nice, new keyboard every time you wash it) 3) Great key layout and overall design Cons: None that I can think of

  NEW TIM! ITS ORGANIC! Got this in the mail Wed and dropped the pakage down the steps to my moms basment! Plastic casing popped out of the box and started shaking! All the sudden the pakage melted and jellyfish tenticals popped out of the pins! The chip walked to my asoos mobo and plugged itself in! One of the tenticals plugged the mobo into the wall! All the sudden the mobo speakers said BIFF, I DO MATH GOOD AND READING!!........IT NEW MY NAME! I told it like 10 of my pre-algibra problems and it solved some of the them! Voice reconition is better than DRAGON DITATION 3! Not quite as good a Dragon4! After math the chip flooted up on its tenticals! It started overclocking itself! 5ghz on air???! PFFF MORE LIKE 20GZ ON THIN AIR!! Bleu flaims came out top of the chip! Big blue flaim came out the bottom as well! The flaim had eyes and motuh that looked like yellow data! My moms basement got so hot I started swetting! The AC bill was like 500 this month! DANG!! BEST CHIP!

  Aw.. the logo sticker enclosed is a very dull standard intel type sticker. I was hoping for a cool design with that Devils Canyon logo on it. Im docking a star for that!! It also has the standard stock cooler, so don't expect too much over clocking from that. Other than that... its a straight swap. Windows will pickup the new CPU but that's not going to cause driver problems at all. I gave up waiting for Amazon to ship my pre-order and got mine from Newegg overnight.... Actually ended up being slightly cheaper than Amazon....

  This is an absolutely fantastic enthusiast level processor. Well done Intel. I love this thing and I want to marry it! The only bad thing I can say is this is prob what Haswell should have been from the get go. This bad boy runs stock at 4GHz!!!! Super fast and cooler than the i7 4770k with Intel's new secret TIM (idle is 23-25C using a Corsair H80i). And when I say its fast- I mean lightning bolt fast. AMAZING. Crazy fast and runs cool! My MSI Gaming motherboard has an Enhanced Turbo feature and forces all four cores to run at 4.4GHz all the time. And this is all before any actual overclocking. It's insanity!!! But in a good way. If you have the means, get a Z97 mobo and this processor. You won't regret it.

  its really good , fast , plus the fact that its 340$ makes it great , i have this processor on my rig and a gtx 780 and works great , but just to be safe i bought h100i liquid cooling from corsair to over clock a bit if ever want to , i dont think any will ever need to over clock because a base speed its 4.0 ghz ... GG intel

  its really good , fast , plus the fact that its 340$ makes it great , i have this processor on my rig and a gtx 780 and works great , but just to be safe i bought h100i liquid cooling from corsair to over clock a bit if ever want to , i dont think any will ever need to over clock because a base speed its 4.0 ghz ... GG intel

  When i bought this cpu i looked at myself in the mirror, then i went outside, caught a bird and ate it, oh boy did that little birdy taste good, then moments later my new cpu arrived, i was so excited, i went to get it from the mailman and snatched it right out of his hand, i later went inside and fapped to my gold fish but thats beside the point, i put the new cpu into my motherboard and this strange light came from my computer, i went to check it and it was a dead horse inside my computer case, i then cried and gave that horse a burial underneath my bed, now whenever i go to sleep i know there is a dead horse under me, other than that the cpu was great and i would recommend it to any little kid, this cpu made my computer X420 faster btw.

  So, regardless of how early you preordered this from amazon you will not be getting yours until amazon fixes whatever issues they are having.Every other retailer has them in stock, and is shipping at a lower price than the $379 preorder. After being lied to by 2 reps, I got notice that my CPU did NOT ship yesterday as planned. They have no idea why, and will just leave my order open. I ended up canceling the order and going with a different vendor.If you want your CPU before next week, be sure to grab it from someone else. Otherwise great CPU.

  I ordered one day shipping and it still hasn't been shipped yet. There is an issue with ordering these. So don't expect to have it by the end of the week. I would suggest going to a Frys or Tiger Direct store and just picking it up. I went to Frys and they had 5 available. I am rating this down one star due to Amazon and the shipper failing to get my product to me on time. The product itself is amazing and worth everything penny. So def go pick it up. Its super fast and amazing.
