I bought this mouse over 3 years ago when I purchased my surface pro 4. I didn't think that having 3 different Bluetooth MAC addresses for 3 different devices would be useful but oh boy is it ever. I can use it with my desktop and move it to the Surface Pro 4. I am buying another one for my new desk setup since I am now working from home. The folks over at Logitech know how to make some quality products!
Used prior version last couple years. Tried another wireless mouse but required mouse pad which is okay at home but not on the road. Ergonomic for my smaller hand size. Terrific battery length, lasting weeks between charges. Seamless Bluetooth integration with my HP laptop on windows 10. Freed up USB port.
I got this to replace my m305 that one of the buttons died. I use it primarily for work and bring it with me in my laptop bag. I liked that it was both RF and bluetooth compatible. It has a nice weight to it, which might be an issue for some, but I like it. I like that it is rechargeable as well, but would have preferred USB-C for charging rather than micro USB. Bluetooth pairing went flawlessly and has been stable all day on my HP laptop. I have but one complaint, which cost it a star. The USB dongle for RF is super small which is nice, but since I am using bluetooth I don't need it. There is NOWHERE on the mouse to store the receiver dongle. That thing will be lost in a second it is so small. I really wish Logitech was able to find somewhere to put the dongle inside the mouse. But all in all it is a great mouse that works very well.
I have not charged the mouse since i bought it and its still going. it works some much nicer then my previous ones. i would defiantly recommend buying this mouse and would buy it again
Works just awesome, super precise, works on lots of surfaces like glass, fabrics, etc. I bought because my old mouse doesn't work on fabrics mouse pads, and this one just works perfect. Scroll has a click which changes from smooth to ticking. also moving from devices is just as easy as one button click on the back side of the mouse.
I work in commercial construction and managing multiple programs on multiple displays. If you take the time to set up the additional buttons this mouse saves an incredible amount of time.
I like the size and function of this mouse overall, and the battery lasts a long time. However, the mouse lags quite often (~once per hour, if not more frequently), and it lasts for 20-30 seconds each time. There does not appear to be any consistent driver of this (battery, apps, distance to computer, BT vs USB dongle, etc). Same issue with Logi keyboard. It means tracking is way off, making it very hard to press buttons (I've been stuck on mute on Zoom calls, desperately trying to get the mouse to go onto the unmute button, but it zips all over the screen as it lags and tracks weird).Could be an OS X issue, of course, but Apple's mouse doesn't have any issues like this, so I'm thinking Logi has a hand in the issue, too (perhaps their software).
OK, it might be hard to understand being excited about a mouse, but this one surprised me.I haven't found anything about it that I don't like. My job includes visiting client sites providing automation programming. I use this mouse everyday. all day, and often into the evening. If I'm not at my small desk with a trackball, I use it at home too. Charge lasts long and is easy and fast to recharge. You can recharge while using it.The size is great, the customization is incredibly useful with a long list of options for each of the buttons. It appears to be rugged (I toss it a backpack every day with a bunch of other odds and ends and run to the client site on a motorcycle). No Bluetooth lag in response, pair it with three PCS easily selected with the mouse. I bought this specifically because it works even on clear glass surfaces and it has not disappointed at all in that regard. When I found so many features besides working on glass , I was pretty damn happy.Just buy the damn thing.
I use two computers with the same monitor, mouse, and keyboard. One for work and one for personal use.I just bought a new Mac mini and learned what a hassle it is to use the same Apple magic keyboard and mouse with two machines.Bought this mouse due to support for defining three different connections. I wasn't disappointed. Mechanical switch on bottom to switch connections is much nicer than having a software agent running on both machines or other complex nonsense.Ergonomics are nice. I like the click indexed and free scroll options.Battery life is great. Think I've only charged it once since buying it (two months ago?).Nice product.
