COULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT IF BLACK PRINTING ON KEYS WAS SLIGHTLY LARGER AND BOLDER BLACK,
THE WASHABILITY FEATURE SEEMS UNIQUE TO THIS KEYBOARD.

I've been looking for the perfect computer keyboard for a really long time. I became fond of the little Apple bluetooth keyboard used with apple computers, iPads and so on, so I've bought a few of these chiclet keyboards like this one. I bought an expensive HP Elite keyboard which I liked in the store but find I hit the keys too hard due to the shallow throw (distance when pressing key to when it makes electronic contact to display the character). This Washable Keyboard from Logitech is much better, the throw distance is more significant and feels better. I also love the black/white simplicity of it. I use it at work every day and it continues to be a winner for me.
Regarding the washability factor, that wasn't really the feature that attracted me, but that's a bonus since my keyboards tend to get pretty filthy just with environmental dust. I plan on washing this in the near future and seeing how that works. Meanwhile, I've heard that plain old USB keyboards of any variety can actually be washed in a dishwasher - just has to be dried out thoroughly afterwards - so this keyboard may not have quite the edge it advertises, although it's nice to have the security of putting it in water knowing it was actually designed for that. I would think that also protects it from condensation, liquid spills, and other hazards of office life.
My only qualm is that it's a bit on the expensive side, but I have to say I'm glad I bought it, I think it's definitely worth the money - and Amazon prices are very competitive - less expensive than any local stores.

I chose this product because I was tired of having a disgusting keyboard. The last keyboard I used I took apart to clean and found that it was full of two years-worth of dust and crumbs. This one is easily washable, and additionally dust cannot get stuck in the area behind the keys because there is so much space to get it out (you can probably see what I mean by looking at the picture).
This part won't be of interest to most people, but it was very easy to pop out and rearrange the keys to the dvorak layout (the keyboard layout I use). A slight modification had to be made to the F, J, U, and H keys to make them fit in their respective spots (most keyboards I have seen are designed so that the F and J keys cannot be put back in the wrong place), but it was fairly easy to do (just required scratching off a bit of plastic on the back).
I can achieve about 90 WPM on this keyboard, and my average is currently about 80 WPM (according to 10fastfingers.com).

This keyboard is exactly what I was looking for.
~No extra frills (no crazy media or dozens of function keys for me to accidentally hit)
~Its a full size keyboard with a small footprint
~White keys with black lettering make seeing them much easier and the lettering doesn't fade or rub off.
~No more crumbs or dirt or hair or anything falling behind keys.. ever! The keyboard has no little areas where leftovers can hide due to the design of the raised keys. (why did no one think of this sooner!?)
~Super easy to just rinse off.. dry.. and bam you got a new keyboard.
I liked it so much I bought two more as backups because I can't find another keyboard like it. For this price... you can't beat it. Hell you can't beat it for double its price!
I play pc games in my free time and this keyboard fills my needs just fine as I don't need some super expensive led screen or mechanical keyboard for it to work perfectly fine. Only mine will last a LOT longer and be much cleaner! No longer will I have to stop playing my games because I am trying to eat some leftover ribs on a Saturday morning! No more will I have to bring a handful of wet-naps with me when trying to eat wings! No sir! We will play on!!

this thing is super easy to use and clean, plug and play. I really enjoy how solid and easy to clean it is. The number pad is also a nice bonus. Makes for a great back up or if you collect alot of dust or what not on your keyboard, like crumbs and such

This is so cool! Money well spent. Accidents happen and I'm tired of throwing money away; now I won't have to for yet another keyboard. Now if this technology can be expanded for more things . . .

The large-ish keys and small travel means you are less prone to hitting neighboring keys. That's great if you are a clumsy typist, like me. The design is also very pleasing.

I like bigger boards with bigger backspace and enter keys, but this one is very nice.
great in environment where washability is an issue
at 15$ on sale it would be rude to complain
white on black is an odd color choice(hackintosh backward world)
I wish Mac compatablility was easier to document, given its function key shortcuts, but not a big issue
Logitech quality remains consistent and high

Fantastic keyboard. Benched a filthy Razer keyboard for this puppy and glad I did. Lightweight, yet feels solid and well made. Another quality Logitech product that should have a very long life due to being washable. An excellent investment for only 30 bucks.

My work keyboard gets pretty gross, so wanted to switch to something that I could actually clean. This keyboard truly is washable, and has held up well to my cleanings. I previously had a Microsoft ergonomic keyboard, so was a little concerned about hand comfort with switching back to a non-ergonomic keyboard, but I haven't noticed a difference. They keyboard has a very nice profile - slim and modern looking. Easy to type on. I recommend.

Terrific touch, you can really get going on it. One negative - there should be a bit more space between the a key and Caps Lock.

I am happy I bought this. I have spilled water on it, and it's held up. There's not an easier keyboard to clean, either. Great buy. I'd purchase this again.

i absolutely love this key board. Now when my husband makes a mess, I can wipe it off using the faucet. The keys feel different that the other keyboards, but that feeling goes aaway after the first use. I like the white keys on the black background. Works as well as the other key boards, and soooooooooo mucheasier to keep clean. this would be great for chldren that love to use computers with sticky fingers and such.

I'm amazed. Of course, I thought this keyboard would be OK, but I'm stunned that I can instantly clean coffee, fruit juice spills or crumbs off of it immediately, just with a tissue.
No more being ashamed of my filthy-even-after-I-cleaned-it-as-well-as-I-could keyboard in front of colleagues and clients!
The touch or keyboard action isn't the best I've ever had, but it's perfectly acceptable, especially since it doesn't embarrass me any more.

I was originally concerned about the keyboard lacking a hand rest, but I actually found that I liked it without it. Plus, you can always buy padding to sit in front of it if you want.
There are a couple reasons I love this thing:
- Washable; Obviously, a huge selling factor. I no longer have to use a disgusting keyboard anymore.
- Button Presses; When you press a button, it sounds and feels really, really good. Probably better than any keyboard I've ever used.
- Perfect Layout; I personally love this keyboard layout and I don't buy keyboards without it. No extra unnecessary buttons.
- Colors; The contrasting white and black keys look nice and makes things easy to see.
I love this thing so much that I almost want to buy another for when (or if) it eventually breaks down the road. I hope that Logitech doesn't ever stop selling it.

As someone who hates dust and used to take apart my keyboard key by key and wash it, this thing is the best!!

The highlighted feature is that you can immerse it in your sink to clean it. That's good to know, because my keyboards can expect to get dirty within a month or two. But that wasn't why I bought it - it's just another reason to like it. I needed a keyboard that I could see in dim light - and that's where the white keys come in. You can find those special keys (home, end) while editing your novel, or your Facebook post about this week's political scandal. I tossed my old keyboard because several of the keys had completely worn off the characters, and these are burned in by laser - or so the documentation says.
The sleep key (function + F12) didn't seem to work as I had hoped at first, but then I found the function key to the right of the spacebar - there's only one, not two. The other F keys work just fine, too (turn up the sound, or down, all those).
The key action is excellent. I find that I make fewer typos for some reason. The sound of the keystrokes is quieter than my other board, and the space bar no longer requires a harder stroke from my thumb than the other keys.
It's a narrow width, which could account for the greater accuracy, but it also gives me better desk space.
This is an excellent keyboard, and the price is right. I am glad I bought it, and I do recommend it.

First, let me say that while I like the idea of wireless everything, I've grown tired of putting batteries into wireless keyboards and mice as frequently as I have with my previous devices.
So, I was looking for a good, wired keyboard and I found this one and thought for the price and given that it is washable, I would try it. What a surprise to find that it has that good ole soft click feel that I like.
My wife liked it so much, I had to order another one for the computer she shares with my kids.
We will see how long it lasts but I'm happy with this keyboard, which I use everyday as a remote worker who is a software developer. Recommended if you want a good, wired, and affordable keyboard.
