Built two systems with this CPU, W7 and W10. Both system s running very well on SSD system drives, 32GB RAM and Gigabyte MB.One CPU died, thanks to an electrician working on the furnace. INTEL replaced it under warranty, just have to follow their directions on the return.I purchased a replacement before I dealt with the warranty so there will be a third system in the future with this CPU.

This haswell (Devils Canyon) chip is a little overboard for just everyday use however it's a monster of a processor. Handles games with ease, multitasking monster. Good features. I'm not a overclocker but the frequency is a highly respectable 4.0 and 4.4 with turbo. No need for OC if your just a casual gamer like myself. Its a bit pricey for being a couple years old now but still well worth it in my opinion.
