  I don't OC, but this processor can be overclocked reliably to at least 4.4GHz and above. The stock fan cools fine, even when playing high-end games like Far Cry4 and CoD Ghosts; Advanced Warfare, etc. It does not go above about 60C, and cools rapidly to about 28-35C @idle. I bought this i7 because of it's stock speed, and because I won't OC it, and want fast stock equipment that is reliable. Also, it is one of the reasons my Windows Experience Index has climbed to 7.8--even though the processor is the lowest score I have. I am running a 2666MHz FSB and RAM on a Z97 platform with a SSD and a GTX970, and expect it to be very front-running for years to come. I looked long and hard for the right processor, and believe I have found it! Though it is only a quad-core, it doesn't lack any performance I can see in a usage environment. There will always be higher performance numbers--but This proc. didn't cost a grand either. Some say it gets hot; not so with stock settings. Gotta get water cooling or a larger heatsink/fan if you want to play numbers, instead of enjoying it's stock big-block power for gaming and other applications.

  I used this keyboard for over a year and have been satisfied with its performance. The price seems to have gone up. I originally bought this from Best Buy for use at work because it had a clean layout and was only $30. I prefer keyboards that are nearly flat or at least very low to the desk surface, so this one was perfect in that regard. The washable feature was not important, just the layout, low profile, and minimal features (I hate keyboards with a million multi-function buttons on them). In use they keys are definitely spaced father apart than a standard keyboard. I did not notice this until I transitioned back to my home keyboard and found that typing felt very compact. I have actually come to prefer the wider spacing because I am less prone to mistakenly pressing multiple keys at a time. If you have big fingers, this would seem to be a great benefit of the keyboard. The key press is stiff and responsive; I wouldn't call it 'crisp' because the press is a bit muffled, but they keys are definitely sufficiently responsive. I never submerged it in water, but the design made it very easy to clean built up debris from under the keys with compressed air. They keys sit above the surface of the keyboard by about 1/8 so everything just blows right out. The white keys discolored over the course of a year with me mashing on them 8 hours a day. If this keyboard had black keys, was not washable, but had the same design and layout, and only cost $30. I would buy it again and again. At $75.00 it is not worth it; get something made out of aluminum.

  Wish they still made these. Last I checked they were not available (for a realistic price). It's really nice having a keyboard that can be cleaned. Spilled coffee and beer on it and washed it right off. Crumbs and dust bye bye. The caps lock is the only single problem. I hit that accidentally mush too often. Also wish there were a few media buttons for music without having to use the function button.

  This is a good keyboard--easy to type, easy to see the letters, proper layout, and very easy to keep clean. My only complaint is the price. I got it at a good price, Amazon lightning deal, and would love another, but I won't buy it at the current price. What the heck, you can get a new tablet for this price! But at the right price I would buy it again.

  I do not know why this keyboard was discontinued by logitech. Being able to wash this keyboard is an awesome gimmick but the main reason I love this keyboard is how durable it is. I suffer from tourettes which makes me have the tendency to apply extra pressure on the keys when typing or playing games. I have damaged and broken many keyboards due to this and this keyboard is the only one that has survived longer than a year. If I would have known this product was going to be discontinued I would have stocked up!
