This is a great CPU, but it runs hot. Be aware that you will have to get an aftermarket cooler as the stock one Intel sends just does not work even if you do not overclock this CPU.

I kept my old computer running waaaay past its good by date (2004 HP with a P4). When I finally decided to build a gaming rig I had to have an i7 and I'm glad I waited until the 4790K came out. Its just a monster. If you need a quad core intel...be nice to your future self and get this instead of an i5.

Well the first time they sent this to me it was an empty box. Someone who packed the box apparently removed the processor. Thankfully, Amazon sent one out overnight to make up for the problem. After that fiasco I have been very impressed. I was torn to buy this processor or a hex core for gaming and I decided on the 4790k because most games won't utilize six cores and the added ability to overclock this more than the other processor sold me. Plus, it's cheaper so I could put the money I saved where it counts, the video card.This is an awesome processor for someone that want's to build a monster gaming machine.

Best keyboard for office use for mac users. Extremely quiet, I only had to reassign function keys for it to exactly match mac keyboard experience. I type alot and have great wpm on this guy. Other notes: Legs are very sturdy, hard to explain but better than most keyboards. In person this keyboard looks awesome.

It's a beast, and fixes many of the heat issues I had with earlier Harwell. Pushed it to 4.7ghz easily using the Sabertooth Z97 and a Cooler Master 280L. Not much to say other than outstanding.
