My keyboards always get dirty and grimy, so much so that I just pitch them and buy a new one almost annually. No amount of cleaning with fine tooth comb will get all the gunk out after a while. So I was thrilled to find this keyboard - a real keyboard that's washable, not those roll-up latex types that I cannot stand. While I've not immersed this or used water at all yet, the fact that the spacing around the keys is greater, allowing easy access around and under the keys with the included brush is fantastic. I wipe any dirt or debris away easily. I mention spacing is greater but when it comes to typing it certainly feels the same size as any other keyboard. I love the feel and motion of the keys. I am a touch typist and I type just as fast on this as any keyboard I've had. Anywhere from 90 to 105 WPM depending on how my hands are cooperating that day. I have only one quite minor complaint I was aware of when I purchased: Because I type quickly and get more done via keyboard than via mouse, I use the Windows option key frequently - this key is normally between the right side ALT and CTRL keys. On this keyboard it is a FN key that is used to access the extra functions of the F1 through F12 keys (such as media controls, volume, calculator, etc.) The Windows option key is now accessed via the FN key and Print Screen. This still annoys me to some degree but I'm getting used to the double key combo for it. I'm aware I could remap the keys since I otherwise never use the FN key but I've yet to do so.
