I'm using this with my PC set up. At first, when I took out of the package, i insisted it was excessive. Once I got everything set up, it was perfect! Literally a must get if you game. Comfortable, soft, and anti fray! It also compliments the rest of the look of my table. Wouldn't choose any other mouse pad!
I have a mobo that is several years old: ASUS Maximus VI Hero. It's a Z87 chipset Republic of Gamers (ROG) platform. I had previously upgraded to the highest 1150 Intel i5 CPU, the i5-4670K. With a 1603 BIOS update, the mobo became eligible for the i7 CPU line without changing any hardware. So I opted to upgrade to the i7-4790K CPU.(Note: If you're replacing a CPU, make sure you clean the CPU contact side of your existing CPU cooler. Wipe away the thermal paste with a lint-free cloth, followed by a thorough scrub with alcohol. When completely dry, apply new thermal paste to the top of the CPU using the DOT technique -- look it up if you don't know what it is.)I chose this path mainly due to the many 5-Star customer reviews of this product and, since I'm getting along in years, I didn't want to replace my mobo and CPU.Folks, the i7-4790K is the real deal. It lives up to the years of hype and positive comments. Sure, the technology is a few years old, but from what I've read about newer CPUs from both AMD and Intel, I believe it when other PC enthusiasts claim the i7-4790K can hold its own against them.I won't get into the technical babble about this CPU, because I don't care. It is simply on fire (figuratively speaking), outperforming the previous CPU by leaps and bounds. If you purchase the i7-4790K, make sure you have an excellent CPU heatsink (I have never used a stock one for obvious reasons).I also installed a new EVGA RTX 2060 Super video card in the same upgrade.I mostly play Skyrim Special Edition with many heavy texture mods. Believe me when I say this game has never looked so great with my new upgrade. I'm entirely happy with my purchase. This might be the last PC upgrade for me.I know there will be naysayers with negative opinions about my upgrade. 5 stars on all features including charging with included cable, strong battery, have it set up to work on two different laptops, you can set it up to work with different channels via button on bottom of mouse to work with up to 3 devises. Strongly recommend downloading the free features set / link in paper work when recieve, creates several additional features that are great for work and gaming with the using the mouse. only reason 4 stars on ergonomics is because I have large hands wish it was about 10% or so bigger profile geometry in size, other than that its been great so far working with for approx last week. would not consider it very pricey after evaluating the feature set and seamless working across 3 devises with the push of a channel button once set up. highly recommend / west coast CA
This is my 3rd Logitech mx anywhere 2S. They last about 1.5 - 2 years, before they start to double click with one click. At that time it's time to replace.
The MM250 is a well-balanced control pad - amazing for FPS games like CSGO, R6, Overwatch, and Doom (also great for Starcraft 2 and League of Legends if you like slow pads). It's about the same size, thickness, and weight as a QCK Heavy and is a bit slower after being worn in. It's a little quicker than the black Zowie G-SR without feeling swampy or making micro-adjustments difficult. Speed and acceleration are the same horizontally as vertically, and there's a good balance between static and dynamic friction. The edges aren't stitched, but they aren't rough and don't bother me even though my forearm drags directly across the lower edge constantly while playing. The logo in the bottom-right corner is raised a bit, but it's far enough out of the way that it hasn't been an issue.
I had another brand mouse that was rechargeable for about 2 months before the scroll stop working. Also, it was bulky and jerky movement. So I was on the hunt for a new rechargeable mouse - no batteries! I spent a lot of time looking. I am not very techy but I have had computers in my world since before Windows. I LOVE my new mouse. It is so much nicer and it is so smooth. the scroll and movement it so quiet and working it on screen is heaven. Like I said, not very techy, but I wanted to share how happy I am with this mouse. I can't really say anything about how long the charge remains etc I Have not had it long enough! Doing the Happy Dance!
I just love it that every every hand-used product on the market has ergonomic labeled onto it as if it is a measurable quantity. This mouse is almost flat and makes you hands hurt after a while if your mouse surface is below the laptop / monitor surface. The middle button is actually the square thing below the wheel, and the wheel button itself is a mechanical switch between smooth and discrete scrolling. Thus, not good for gaming. That being said, switching between scrolling modes and the ability to connect to several computers and change between them in the press of a button is SO helpful that I don't know how I've managed without it until now. If you place it correctly on your table, and really don't want to pay some extra cash for the MX Master or MX Vertical (I own them both as well), it can be good for you.
For an avid mac user and art director. This is spot on with the adobe creative software. smooth and acurate and comfortable. Also surprising battery life.
This is a amazing mouse pad. I wasn't expected for a $10 mouse pad could be this good. But this mouse pad was higher than what i expected. The quality is great, my mouse works perfectly on it and most importantly, it only cost $10. Very affordable. I've always wanted to get a soft mouse pad with good quality, i think i finally found one.
The mouse itself feels very high quality and is heavier than I was expecting. Performance is very smooth. However, I will be returning this one because after a few days of heavy use I have some wrist pain. I have arthritis in my wrist though, so I'm pretty sensitive. The mouse is shaped very nicely, but I think it's just a little too small for my hand and that is the contributing factor to causing the ergo pain. I have replaced it with a MX Master 3, which is much taller and I hope will ease the pain. The new Flow technology from Logitech is a game changer. Like many people who are now thrust into working from home due to coronavirus shutdowns, I'm constantly having to jump back and fourth between my home desktop and my work laptop. The ability to use a single mouse and simply slide off one screen and onto another is incredible! The copy/paste features are icing on the cake. My only complaint is that when moving from the dongle-equipped PC to the bluetooth-paired laptop, there's a half second delay for the mouse to move over. On the transition in the other direction (Bluetooth to dongle), it's perfectly seamless. This happened with both the Anywhere 2S and the Master 3 mice, so I'm assuming it's a limitation of the technology and not a true defect. I may try using bluetooth on both machines to see if that helps.I've just ordered a Flow-compatible keyboard to complete my setup. Great job, Logitech!
August Update after a few months of use:I'm dropping it from 5 stars to 4. The part I liked the most (Logitech Flow) seems glitchy and I eventually just turned it off. It would suddenly stop working and then recover. Other times it wouldn't recover until I rebooted one of the PCs. Also, during gaming, sometime the mouse would drift off and get 'lost' on the other PC. Disabling this cool feature was a bummer, but necessary. Maybe it'll improve in the future.------------------------------------------The mouse itself feels very high quality and is heavier than I was expecting. Performance is very smooth. I love the quality! The design is super cool, and the edge border of the mat is nice! Since it ships rolled up it has a bit of a tendency to stick up on the edges for a while, hit mine is almost worked in completely now.All and all, I love the mat and I will be using mine in my setup indefinitely!
The pad build quality and feel is fantastic, your mouse moves around like it's on air and the edge hem is comfortable to rest your arms on. The only down side so far is that some mice don't like the pattern on the right side around the corsair logo. Flipping the mat around 180 solves this problem but then the logo is upside down. Not a big deal but take a start off the rating of an otherwise excellent product.
