Let me cut to the chase; I ordered this pad after moving on from a HYPERX FURRY S, sure it’s a bit smaller but this pad is definitely better and cheaper. Don’t sleep I’m using the g pro wireless and it glides like an iceskate.
At first mine felt a little rough but after having it for a week it feels great. The size is just what I needed too. The only complaint I have is sometimes the very edge of the mouse pad can mess with my arms if I have on a short sleeve, but I just let the edge dangle off the table and I'm good.
I really like this mouse pad. It is huge and is large enough to comfortably fit my desktop keyboard and mouse. There also is enough space to use my laptop mouse at the same time. There was a new product smell upon opening the package but that went away the product was removed from the packaging. I would definitely purchase this mouse pad again.
This is a great mouse for the cost. I've connected it to recharge only once in the last three months and i use is daily at home and at the office. I've now upgraded my home mouse to the MX Master 3 so i don't have to keep taking it home with my laptop. I'll submit a separate review once that product has demonstrated quality. This current MX Anywhere 2S has demonstrated reliability, accuracy, and excellent usability--recommend as a purchase to all friends and family. In this case you get what you pay for.
The size is perfect for me (I dont' like resting my palm on it, just control it using the tips of my fingers and with my wrist on the table). It works on any surface, transparent surfaces included. The middle button just below to scroll wheel works great as a third mouse button, which I use often for engineering applications such as Ansys, Femap, and Solidworks. The forward/backward buttons on the left side work great right out of the box.
What overheating issue...... I've read a lot of reviews about overheating issues with this chip, I've experienced none of them. Now, I would NOT recommend using the heat sink that is supplied with the cpu. Maybe that's the issue many people were having.I have a pretty basic setup that I use for work and education. I'm have an IN-WIN slim formfactor m-ATX chassis, Asus mobo, and a Samsung SSD. I replaced the exhaust fan that came with the chassis for an 80mm Noctua and I'm using the Noctua NH-L9x65, 65mm Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler. CPU hasn't gone above 89 degrees.I have two of these boxes, one for my VMware lab and the other for my Cisco network lab. Not one issue. I would suggest to those people having heat issues to look for better cooling/chassis options.Asus mobo B85M-G32GB RAMSamsung pro 512GB SSD
Great mouse but the scroll wheel is a bit loose......This is an updated review because about a week after I wrote this, I found out if you press the scroll wheel, it changes the resistance. Very ergonomic and amazing battery.
What I like about this mouse is that it is:- The size of the mouse is very comfortable.- I am an AutoCAD drawer, and the buttons this mouse has makes drawing very easy.- The Logitech app let me set a different function to each button depending on the software I am using (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)- The battery of the mouse is insane. It last weeks without charging. Sometimes I forgot to turn off the mouse and it stays on for days.
