  This is supposed to be about as fast as you can get with the current generation of processors. With the low price that Amazon Prim was offering, I had no excuse not to get the best. I picked it up with a medium grade Gigabyte MB and WOW. I had pulled my aging first generation i5-760 along with it's gigabyte MB and honestly expected quite a boost in every category between the two. What I didn't expect was just how large a difference it was in real world application.Every aspect of day to day computing was multitudes faster than it had been. Everything from booting, opening applications, heavy multi-tasking, etc. was so much faster that I often found myself trying to find things to accomplish to fill in down time ... something I can't remember ever having with my old system.It has greatly increased my ability to substantially increase my intelligence with the added Youtube and Chive time I know have.The one lesson I truly learned with this exerciser was that obtaining the best is not always the most expensive route to take.

  Overall a great processor, I have it overclocked to 4.6 on a Noctua NH-D14 with 3 fans mounted. About 65C on full load after 3 hours. Would definitely recommend!

  not much else to say. Intel always delivers. This right here is powerful. Intel intensive games runs maxed out, video editing works great. With this, I think I will not have to upgrade anytime soon. Great investment.

  Uhh, I have never owned anything this fast in my life. It's amazing. I'm not a gamer, but I might just have to turn into one. If you are shopping (around the end of 2015) and on a bit of a budget, save your pennies for this one. It's a great processor.

  awesome processor. it does however come with a terrible fan, so I just used the CoolerMaster Hyper 212EVO. Amazing, brings the temp right back down to good levels and it's way less expensive than, for ex, water coolers.

  Does what it's supposed to and is easy enough to clean. I am a gamer so the lettering on the A and S keys are starting to fade with heavy use. Only complaint is since the keys are wide and flat, it's SUPER EASY to make typos. Normal KB's keys are tall and tapered so they afford you with lesser inaccurate key strokes. It's more like a laptop KB in that aspect.

  up to this point, the CPU is truly fast an is able to fulfill 60 fps on my gaming rig on my gtx980 with quality maxed out while recording with Fraps. i recommend getting a premium heat sink for this CPU because it is Overclockable and (unlocked) for better turbo-boosting (because its an I7) and quieter cooling. but it does come with a stock air heat sink.3797 on Fire Strike Ultra/ Intel Core i7-4790K/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980my processor in benchmarks returned this.Reported stock core clock 4,000 MHzMaximum turbo core clock 4,400 MHzPhysical / logical processors 1 / 8# of cores 4Package LGA1150TDP 88 W

  This is an awesome processor. Definitely a overkill if you're just looking to build something that's meant for day to day tasks. This processor is a workhorse. I've yet to have an instance where it hangs or stalls due to the workload that I've handling at any given moment, and that's with 2-3 VM's running in the background.I have yet to try overclocking this, still waiting on picking up a better CPU cooler to put on this thing.

  I purchased this keyboard last black friday for $15 dollars. Had it for a year now. It is a great keyboard and have not had to wash it yet, since the way it is designed (keys are up in the air a good distance from the keyboard itself, making it very easy to clean with canned air or a vacuum). I would not pay the current price $65 for this keyboard however. I think $65 is a ripoff and shocked they are asking that much for it, but for under 20 bucks, it is a great keyboard.
